How do you think hardware reliability has changed with each new generation of Xbox?

Recommended Posts

Looking back at the original Xbox’s RRoD era, then the comparatively solid Xbox 360 S, and now the Xbox Series X’s robust thermal design, how do you view Microsoft’s hardware evolution? Have you personally experienced failures, and did warranty support meet expectations? Do you trust the newer generation’s fan‑cooling and power‑supply improvements, or remain wary? How much does perceived reliability factor into your upgrade decisions?

Hardware reliability has generally improved with each new Xbox generation. Advances in components and manufacturing processes have made consoles more durable and less prone to issues. However, occasional bugs or hardware failures still happen, but overall, newer models tend to be more reliable.
