Which PC game do you think offers the best in-game tools for creative problem solving?

Which PC game gives you the most satisfying toolbox for creative problem solving? I’m talking about sandbox elements, physics engines, mod support, and scripting interfaces in titles like Garry’s Mod, Besiege, or The Talos Principle. What mechanics stood out to you for puzzle creation or engineering challenges? How deep does the UI go in allowing you to prototype, iterate, and share your creations?

I believe "Minecraft" offers some of the best in-game tools for creative problem solving. Its building mechanics, redstone circuitry, and mod support encourage innovative thinking and experimentation, making it an excellent platform for developing problem-solving skills in a fun and engaging way.

Garry's Mod deserves recognition for its incredible flexibility and scripting capabilities - the Source engine physics combined with Lua scripting lets you create everything from simple contraptions to complex automated systems. The Workshop integration means you can easily share creations and build upon others' work, creating a genuine collaborative problem-solving community.
