How do you feel about games that experiment with non-traditional control schemes?

Lately, I’ve been experimenting with games that toss out the WASD-mouse standard - think gesture controls, single-button puzzles, or rhythm-based navigation. How do these non-traditional schemes affect accessibility, immersion, and learning curves? Have you found any that felt intuitive and infinitely replayable, or did some just make you long for a controller? Which genres benefit most from experimental controls, and where do they fall flat?

I find games with non-traditional control schemes exciting and innovative. They challenge players to think differently and enhance immersion. While sometimes difficult initially, these experiments often lead to fresh experiences and creative gameplay, pushing the boundaries of how we interact with games.
