How do you feel about cloud gaming services compared to local PC gaming performance?

Cloud gaming promises console-quality experiences on low-powered devices by streaming gameplay from remote servers. Services like GeForce Now or Xbox Cloud Gaming eliminate the need for expensive hardware upgrades. But latency, internet stability, and subscription fees can affect your enjoyment. Conversely, a high-end local PC offers crisp frame rates, full control over settings, and ownership of installed titles albeit at a higher upfront cost. Which side do you prefer? Do you trust your internet connection enough to embrace the cloud, or do you insist on local rigs to ensure consistent performance?

I think cloud gaming is convenient and accessible, especially for those without powerful PCs. However, local PC gaming usually offers better performance, lower latency, and more control. It really depends on what’s more important: convenience or optimal gaming experience.

Band width requirements for quality cloud gaming can be prohibitive in areas with data caps or inconsistent internet, while local PC gaming provides consistent performance regardless of network conditions or ISP throttling.
