killamch89
I’ve been exploring PC titles that experiment with non-traditional user interfaces—games that break away from the usual HUD, menu layouts, or inversion of control schemes. How do you feel when a game integrates, for instance, a diegetic interface (UI elements appearing “in world”) versus a more conventional overlay? Have you played games where you interact via voice, gesture, or novel radial menus instead of standard keybinds? Do these experiments deepen immersion or leave you frustrated, searching for hidden UI elements?
Scorpion
I find PC games experimenting with non-traditional interfaces exciting and innovative. They challenge conventions and can create more immersive experiences. While sometimes they have a learning curve, I appreciate developers pushing boundaries to make gaming more interactive and engaging.
killamch89
Stanley Parable's narrator-driven interface that responds to and comments on player actions creates a unique meta-gaming experience where the UI becomes part of the narrative rather than transparent functionality.
