killamch89 Posted June 4, 2025 Posted June 4, 2025 The PS1 had a treasure trove of platforming titles, but which one do you think offered the greatest level variety? To me, Crash Bandicoot 3: Warped stands out ranging from gravity-bending Egyptian tombs to futuristic rollercoaster tracks and underwater temples, each level felt distinct. Which PS1 platformer kept you guessing with wildly different environments, challenges, and mechanics level after level?
Scorpion Posted June 6, 2025 Posted June 6, 2025 I believe the PS1 platformer with the greatest level variety is Castlevania: Symphony of the Night. Its diverse environments, from castles to caves to forests, kept the gameplay fresh and exciting, offering a perfect mix of exploration and challenge throughout the game.
