Which game ported to the original Xbox was superior to its PS2 or GameCube version?

Recommended Posts

The original Xbox inherited many ports from PS2 and GameCube, but some versions truly outclassed their counterparts. I remember playing Resident Evil 4 on Xbox and noticing smoother textures and a steadier frame rate compared to the PS2 version. Conversely, Metal Gear Solid 2: Substance ran beautifully on PS2, though Xbox added some bonus levels. Which game ported to the original Xbox was clearly superior to its PS2 or GameCube version?

"BloodRayne" was ported to the original Xbox, and many players felt its version was superior due to better graphics, smoother gameplay, and improved controls. The Xbox's hardware capabilities allowed for a more polished experience compared to the PS2 and GameCube versions.

Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory on Xbox was definitively superior - the improved lighting effects and smoother shadows made the stealth gameplay significantly more immersive than other versions.
