How do you feel about using dual-screen accessories with handheld gaming PCs?

Dual-screen setups are common on desktops and laptops, but what about handheld gaming PCs? I recently saw a clip of someone attaching a detachable secondary screen to their Steam Deck and it got me thinking. Would a dual-screen accessory improve productivity like having a map or chat on one screen while gaming on the other or would it just add bulk and drain battery faster? How would ergonomics and thermal management be handled when two displays are active? As someone who loves handheld portability, I want to know: do you feel dual-screen attachments enhance your gaming experience, or are they impractical gimmicks?

I think dual-screen accessories for handheld gaming PCs could be a great way to enhance gameplay, offering more space for maps or chat. However, they should be lightweight and seamless to avoid compromising portability and comfort during extended gaming sessions.

I tried a dual-screen attachment for my Steam Deck and while the novelty was cool, the added weight and bulk defeated the purpose of handheld gaming for me. The battery drain was also significant - went from 3 hours to maybe 90 minutes of actual gaming time.
