killamch89 Posted June 10, 2025 Posted June 10, 2025 PS2 nights at my friend’s house were epic but sometimes matches dragged on forever, and other times they ended before anyone got warmed up. I’m curious: which PlayStation 2 title struck that perfect balance, where a single match felt exciting and complete in just the right amount of time?
Scorpion Posted June 18, 2025 Posted June 18, 2025 Star Wars Battlefront II on PS2 had multiplayer match lengths that were just right. Galactic Conquest missions and instant action battles offered quick skirmishes or longer, epic engagements, perfectly balancing accessibility with strategic depth. It never felt too short or too drawn out.
killamch89 Posted June 20, 2025 Author Posted June 20, 2025 TimeSplitters 2's matches hit that sweet spot around 10-15 minutes - long enough to develop strategies and comebacks, short enough that losing didn't feel like a huge time investment.
