This is an interesting team-up. Actor and ex pro wrestler Dave Bautista is working alongside writer Steve Lerner. Lerner is the writer behind the popular game Stray. They are interested in working on a new game or series where you play as cats in a neo-noir style world. Anthropomorphic cats to be exact. The Cat Assassin as it seems to be called, will be part of a bigger franchise, likely revolving around anthropomorphic cats. 

I heard Stray was a really fun game, so I wonder what a game like this would be like. I imagine a lot more advanced as I remember hearing the controls for Stray were pretty minimal.

Stray's charm was its simplicity, but a "Cat Assassin" franchise suggests a deeper, more action-oriented experience.
