His evolution from a timid boy to a capable companion, alongside Kratos's gruff mentorship, created an unforgettable and deeply emotional father-son dynamic.

In my opinion, Cortana in Halo 5: Guardians became unforgettable for all the right reasons, transforming from Master Chief's trusted AI companion into a complex antagonist with genuinely compelling motivations about AI evolution and protection. Her character arc was emotionally devastating and brilliantly voice-acted throughout.
