Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you may have discovered that Bandai Namco recently released brand new Jump Force trailer, showing off some of the greatest Bleach characters around. That’s right, Ichigo, Aizen, and Rukia. Ichigo was already confirmed to be joining Jump Force’s character roster a month ago, but we’re equally glad to see Rukia’s reveal right alongside him especially as the fighting game has been lacking in female characters.
Ever since Jump Force was revealed during E3, it’s been one of the most highly-anticipated fighting games of the year – and for good reason. Not only will it be including all your favorite anime characters, but it’ll also involve what looks to be a rich, dark storyline that has something to do with Death Note characters Light Yagami and Ryuk. So it shouldn’t be any surprise when we say that this game looks to be a must-have for anime fans.
Not much is known about the story of Jump Force, apart from that the worlds of real life and anime will become connected somehow and will force both heroes and villains to come together in ways that fans may not be expecting. Though if Light Yagami and Ryuk are involved, we doubt that their intentions in the real world will be anything but pleasant. On that note, perhaps it would be wise to speculate Ichigo and Rukia having something to do with them too. After all, they are somewhat experts when it comes to the Shinigami.
Regardless, there is still little information on what we can expect from Jump Force’s story. Though we’re sure to know more at this year’s Gamescom as Bandai Namco has already confirmed Jump Force will be there, along with several other games such as Naruto: Shinobi Striker and Divinity Original Sin 2.
