The launch yesterday of Modern Warfare Season 3 means that, in the span of a single download, players suddenly have a lot of new content to get to grips with. The new season brings Quads to Warzone, three new maps to Modern Warfare, two new guns, and more. However, if you want to start earning XP and progressing through the Season 3 Battle Pass, then you should certainly check out the four new Trials.
The Four New Modern Warfare Season 3 Trials
Trials are nothing new to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, but the launch of Season 3 means that players now have four new ones to complete. Each of the Modern Warfare Season 3 Trials gives players the chance to earn up to 10,000 XP if they can get a 3-star ranking. Of course, Trials from previous Seasons are still in the game too; if you didn’t complete them at the time, this may be a good time to go back and do so.

The first of the four new Trials is Gun Course. Set on the Vacant map, this Trial has two variants; one with smoke and another without. You simply need to clear the course as fast as possible while eliminating all enemy targets and avoiding the civilians. Of course, the smoke variant will make this one a bit more challenging.
The second new Trial is Risky Parkour, which earns its name because you’ll need to avoid dropping to the ground. (Toxic gas is present throughout the map, forcing you to get up high to stay alive.) While Gun Course takes place on a single map, Risky Parkour has three unique courses on different maps; Gun Runner, Hackney Yard, and Piccadilly.
The third and fourth of the new Modern Warfare Season 3 Trials are Shooting Range and Marksman Challenge. The former is just what it sounds like; using your weapon, you need to spot and shoot all of the targets on the range, using as little ammunition as possible. There are two variants of Shooting Range. The version on the Docks map lets you use rifles, while the Stack variant features shotguns. Finally, the Marksman Challenge is a timed challenge which requires you to shoot waves of targets at long-range on Euphrates Bridge. Every missed shot takes time off the clock, meaning that accuracy is rewarded. Like Shooting Range, this Trial has two variants, though they take place on the same map. One features sniper rifles while the other requires you to use a handgun.
