  21. Today
  22. I never have been impressed with the Quest. Even on PC when compared to PSVR2 the color is dramatically less vibrant, the blacks aren't black. It's too bad Sony PSVR2 Sense controllers are pretty finicky with Bluetooth types. Then I also hate having the headsets that are pressure fitted to my face. The HP Reverb G2 was the best PCVR setup for me, then MS killed their entire VR initiative.
  23. The simplicity of the joystick/button controllers was innovative as hell for the era. It was also all we needed. Games like Frogger, Pitfall, and Pac-man were controlled perfectly. I wish Nintendo and PlayStation would come out with a joystick controller. They would probably have to make games specifically to be compatible. But I personally would enjoy a controller with nothing more than a joystick and only one single button.
  24. Their handheld exclusives are life or death for Nintendo. They more or less have a monopoly on the handheld market. Yeah, there are other handhelds, but they can't hold a candle to the superiority of Nintendo. But that doesn't mean they can slack off. They have to keep their consoles at the front lines if they want to stay number 1.
  25. With the hardware, it introduced us to shoulder buttons. Which was science fiction to us who wanted one. It also gave us the most lifelike graphics of any system of the era. Difficulty in a lot of games was ramped up. The capabilities of the SNES was awe inspiring. It showed that innovation can only go up.
  26. I would say SOTN if this was a PlayStation discussion. But being that it's Nintendo, I can easily say Castlevania II Simon's Quest. It's not the easiest game in the Castlevania franchise, but it's absolutely one of the best.
  27. They're a slap in the face to actual classic gamers. The concept makes the majority of us want to puke. They're nothing but emulators shaped similar to the actual console.
