I only have played Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 and I can say that it's a very good game. I would recommend playing all of the COD tittles if it's possible for you.
-
I think that Counter Strike: Global Offensive and the Call of Duty series can give a very good combat experience. CS:GO is more of a competitive type of game but still it's a good one.

I would love to see the setup for that. I do admit I could have saved a bit getting a not so nice case. Can you show me which parts you would (are using) use for one can play all games on high settings?
Haven't been doing builds for months but here is something quick which I made. It's a mid-range and can go below $600 if you get 1050TI instead of RX580 and R5 1400 instead of R5 1600.

I always have wondered how people manage to get to levels like 100, 120 and higher in Steam. What are some good ways there to farm/grind these levels? Is crafting badges worth the time?

I don't have any game merchandise but I would like to. Having knives or weapons from Counter Strike: Global Offensive would be perfect for me. T-shirts are good too.
-
My favourite mode in Minecraft is survival too. I have spent a lot of time building houses and mining. Playing in servers is also better I think because there are other players and it's more enjoyable.
-
I always have used a monitor to play PC games on. I don't think that playing Counter Strike: Global Offensive on a TV would be comfortable for me. I also don't have a need for a second monitor because all what I do is just gaming.

PC gaming can be fun on a high end PC which will cost a bit.
It's not necessary to spend a lot of money on a gaming PC. You can build one which can play all the games currently on high settings for just $500-$600 USD.

I'm going to vote for ARK: Survival Evolved, Minecraft and Grand Theft Auto V. In Minecraft the graphics aren't important but what you have built there. ARK has a very beautiful atmosphere and GTA V's open world is amazing.
-
I would choose Players' Unknown Battlegrounds all the way. I think that the building element in Fortnite is a stupid idea, at least in my opinion. PUBG is much more realistic which is making it better.
-
When I play competitive games like Counter Strike: Global Offensive or Call of Duty I prefer first person shooting but when I play Grand Theft Auto V I'm always on third person. It's easier for me there to aim that way.
-
I never have pre-ordered any game. I usually try to get the games which I like on a sale in Steam. Not everyone can afford to purchase all the games on their full price.
-
I like a lot of games but I think that MMORPG is my favourite genre. I also like first person shooting and survival games. Simulators like Euro Truck Simulator 2 are good too.
-
I have a custom built PC. I would recommend if you are purchasing a new computer for yourself to be a custom built too. They are much cheaper and powerful than the pre-builts. If you need any help with that I can assist.

I always have preferred PC gaming and I never owned a Playstation or Xbox. The main reason for that is the games which I like are available only for PC and I can do much more things on it rather than just gaming.

I have been using headphones for years. I have used speakers before but they can't match with a headset! The audio is so much better which is very important for the games I play, mainly Counter Strike: Global Offensive. And the microphone is a good plus too.

Oh, dude, I'd be so mad! Were you ever able to reset the account to get your access back?
Well, I was very mad at first too. I have contacted the owner of the server and asked him for help and received a simple "no" answer. Anyway, the server got shut down a week or two after that. And I have paid only $7 myself so that's not really a big problem.
-
Not sure if this counts but once someone hacked my account in a Minecraft server. The price of the account was over $60 with all the purchased ranks, money and extras there. I didn't care much because a week after that the server has been shut down.

It's an incredibly popular game but I'm not sure why? Not because I don't believe it isn't good, but I'm rather ignorant about it. What makes it so replayable? Is it the community?
Over 50% of the community there is super toxic so this is the last thing which makes it that re-playable. It's the competitive mode and the ranks. When you play more you usually get better and earn higher ranks for it. People aim to become the best players so that's what making the game basically. Also, there are a lot of community servers with a lot of different mods.

I really have spent tons of time into Minecraft when I was younger. I was playing it for more than 6 hours each day for years. But recently I don't play it very much. Maybe sometimes once a week or somewhat there. Not much interested into this game anymore.
-
I always get my video games from Steam. Recently I found that sometimes Humble Bundle is offering great games as a bundle only for $12 and maybe I would start buying from there too if I find something interesting.
-
- Minecraft - One of my favourite games when I was a kid.
- Counter Strike: Global Offensive & Counter Strike 1.6 - I don't play the old one anymore but still it's a good game.
- Grand Theft Auto V - I have watched tons of videos in YouTube and I really enjoy it.
- Euro Truck Simulator 2 - The best relaxing game for me.
- Team Fortress 2 - Another shooting game which I really like.
-
For myself it's for sure Counter Strike: Global Offensive. Sometimes I get matched with a completely noob team - boosted, doesn't know what communication is, plays selfish and doesn't give a damn about the teammates. Also, when I have to fight versus hackers it's making me very mad too.

I've given a fair share of time to almost every popular MMORPG out there. For me Black Desert, Guild Wars 2 and Skyforge were the best. The latter is not at its best state right now though so you shouldn't bother as much. Black Desert and Guild Wars 2 though are a must try!
Thank you very much for the recommendations. I have played Black Desert Online some months ago during a free weekend in Steam and didn't like it much to be honest.

Warframe isn't really in my style.
What got you into gaming?

I don't really remember what got me into gaming but I think it's the fun to play video games and relax. It's just something like a thing that I do everyday to not get bored.
