It was a couple years ago. It was during the iPhone 10 era. So whatever android was out then. I had it for all of 2 weeks before I took it back and got another iPhone like I had had before. I was sick to death of not being able to personalize a god damn thing. Not even the ringtones I had downloaded.

I would have to say that is completely wrong. Androids are more customizable than iPhone. Sometimes the method isn't obvious, but they are more customizable than iPhones are. IPhone is still playing catch up to android.

  2. I personally prefer smart watches.

They can do more than just tracking steps and heart rate and stuff. They can also do things like giving you notifications from your phone so you do not have to take your phone out of your pocket if it is just a quick reply. It is also easier to play and pause music with the watch rather than digging your phone out just to skip a track.

  3. I prefer wireless, but then again I am not really that far away from the devices so they do not have to go very far.

It also allows more freedom of movement with my mouse. To the point where I do not have to have a cable potentially blocking my input.

  4. Both, for different purposes.

I use my PC for most major writing and emails and stuff like that. Gaming as well, recording and streaming too.

I is my phone for quick replies and mobile tools on the go, photos and videos with the camera, and similar stuff to that. I do not really play games on my phone, mostly I save that for my PC, as my primary gaming device, and my PlayStation 5 as my secondary gaming device.

  5. I use Google Workspace for my community's email, Google Docs, and more. Unfortunately, a long-time customer of over 10 years isn't getting grandfathered into the old pricing and my prices went up, but since I've been using it for over a decade, it would be difficult to leave for another platform like Office 365 business, since I'd have to migrate 10+ years of emails, storage, and lose access to $500 USD worth of paid android apps.

So I'm kinda stuck with Google Workspace now, haha.

  6. I preordered mine later the same day that preorders went live. I am getting a bonus Pixel Watch 2 bonus with it!

I watched the keynote, and some pretty awesome features are coming with it, especially in regards to photos & videos with ways to quickly and easily "erase" things you don't want like random strangers in a photo of a public place, and they added a new "Night Sight video" so now it has photo and video boosting.

I cannot wait for mine to arrive on the 18th/19th! Anyone else plan to get a Pixel 8, or 8 Pro?

  7. I just use Google. Since its what most webmasters are used to for running websites. It's what the majority of people default to, so we tend to optimize for Google, since its the 'de-facto engine' in a sense.

  8. I tried it out for a couple hours or so. Not really my style with the lil changes and tweaks that make it different from Overwatch. It's great that it's F2P, but there's rarely any fun & enjoyable F2P games that I've personally liked.

One F2P I wish hadn't died is Gigantic. It had ... SO much potential.

  9. I am honestly very unhappy and unimpressed with Warframe. I spent around 2k hours, and 900 dollars or so (but that's over the course of nearly a decade). But their Cinematic quests lock you in, and I picked a bad frame, so I'm literally stuck and cannot finish the cinematic quest I'm on. They do not offer a way to reset progress to 0 or change frames, so I've uninstalled the game and gave it a negative review on Steam. I will likely never return unless they make changes to let you cancel cinematic quests even if you lose all progress.

I cannot do any MP runs anymore, and since I'm stuck with a frame (dunno which one, haven't played in over 6 months really) that makes this quest near impossible ... I won't be returning.

  10. Probably ALL Battle Royales for me. I tried a few of them, a couple rounds each, not really my thing. I'd rather play Battlefront 2 and BF2042 with its oddly balanced maps and no balance on team comps. Half the time there's a whole team of high levels against low levels on the other side and they wipe the floor with us, but its still more enjoyable to me than literally all Battle Royales.

If I could bring any character to life out of a game it would definitely have to be either Yoshi or Crash Bandicoot. I think it would be quite fun to see these to in the real world come to life and you be able to interact with them like you can with others.

On a similar note, I would bring Spyro the Dragon to the real world. Crash and Spyro are buddies in their games, so why not bring both of them to the real world together?

  12. Eh, I feel that skins aren't really needed for a console. If anything, sometimes it can mess with airflow and performance, so I'd rather have stock, or if needed add a fan blowing cool air towards it, but that's about it for me. Don't need a fancy 3D "case" like this xbox has. A simpler wrap would be more my speed, if I were to go that route.

  13. Not very likely I will ever use an iPhone, unless there was some way to transfer at least my crucial paid apps from Android to iOS. Either with all the devs allowing it somehow, or getting a refund to re-purchase on the new OS.

The last time I even tried iOS was like 6 years ago, and at that time it did not meet my needs at all. Nowadays, it's catching up to Android, so ... maybe? in the future?
