The free phone number for Rockstar is 0800 953 6962. I can't seem to get through to them, any ideas why? I've been meaning to discuss my GTA 5 account status with them for some time now.
Everytime I call the 0800 number I receive the following automated message:
You have dialled an incorrect number, please check the number and try again. If you need help please call customer care.
Are there alternative support methods instead?

It depends on the time of the day for me personally, my mood and a couple of other factors determine how I like the atmosphere. It's a mixture really.
