  1. Well... I have to say that I'm not very familiar with indie games. I know how good they can be because some of my friends, but... I still didn't give a chance for them. Maybe, in a near future because I like to try new games.

Looks like a good news. Though I hope that they remake some of the games and then port it to another devices. That way they can retain the originality and also make changes. I like how they made remake of few games recently.

This is how all the remakes should sounds: they have to keep the originality (which isn't so difficult... after all, the original material is still available) and put some good changes to create a new atmosphere. It's a good combo to make a great remake.

I'm still looking for another PC game that would be as good as Doom. I'm not saying that there aren't more good PC games but I'm looking at finding exactly what looks like Doom.

I understand you, haha! By the way, there are very good good PC games... But the fact is, DOOM is such a classic game, that have to find another one as good as it is a very complicated task, haha!

There actually is a game series called Lara Croft. They're spinoff games of Tomb Raider. Hence my confusion.

Don't worry, 'cause I've made some "confusion" too... Haha! The fact is, the game is so damn good, isn't it? Haha! It's on my list of addictions right now... Haha!

Of course video games demo are very important otherwise the game companies would not bother making them in the first place. Some people might have different views on it but it doesn't really change how good they are.

Yes, this is a "system" that works very well. So, because of that (and many other factors)... I think this way of see the things isn't going to change anytime soon.

Oddly enough I'm using a regular mouse, it's not the mouse but rather the skill of a player ^^

I think your answer is perfect for this topic. The major key is really the skill of each player... Some of them have one (but most of players have to discover it) and some others don't. Simple as that... Haha!

You mean the new Tomb Raider?

Sometimes I call it Lara Croft... Sometimes I call it Tomb Raider, haha! But yeah, that is the game. I'm so addicted to it right now that I can't play any other game, haha! Nowadays, I only have eyes for this game, haha!

Gamers do love Doom. They get hooked up on it like they haven't seen anything like it in the past. It's such a great classic PC game.

THAT feeling you can't describe speaks for itself. I mean, when a game is so good that you have no words to explain how good it is... THAT game is very important one (no matter how simple it may be).

Probably you must have some knowledge about how good or bad the said game which you wanted to play which as a result of such information you aren't bothered about playing the demo. This happens to most people.

Yeah. I think you've said all the answer here. I can't think in a better reason for it, haha! Most of people think just like us and I think this never gonna change. But video game demos are still important.

  10. I think game demo is a very important way of "predicting" the possible outcome that a certain game can have. However, I don't have to much patience to play them... I just like to play the final version (when I have time for it, haha)!

  11. I play visual novels sometimes, but I don't think they are on my list when it comes about indispensable games. I mean, they are good (in my opinion)... But not all that great! In the end, I think they worth it just for a lazy fun, haha!

  12. Right now, I'm trying the new Lara Croft (that used as reference for the most recente movie with Alicia Vikander) and I have to say that I'm very surprised with the storyline and specially, with the quality of the game.

Doom is a classic for a reason lol

I have to agree with this, haha!

No game can become timeless without a special reason for it. But, I have to be honest and say that I don't know what is the most important reason that make DOOM so special (but it is, haha)!

I think most of the FPS shooters can be difficult. Castle Wolfestein, Pamali were some of the challenging games because you had to run trying to save yourself and also shoot the people around. So that kind of made it harder for many to play those games. I' also had some of the challenges playing those games. And the old CS was also difficult as per my experience.

It looks like FPS shooters are naturally difficult, haha! I mean, they have been made to make us go crazy when we are playing them, haha! Sometimes, they really make me feel like a fool because I can't get succeed in some situations, haha!

  15. When it comes about board games, my first and favorite choice is (and will always be) Chess. I have a very personal connection with it (because one of my grandfathers), so... It's very special (besides been na excellent game of course).
