The Blackangel Posted September 16, 2021 Share Posted September 16, 2021 Both of these games are insanely hard. Hard to the point that a Game Genie is almost a requirement to play the damn games. But which one is more difficult. I'm expecting the vast majority of people to give their vote to Battletoads, but sit back and think for a moment before you do. They were both so hard that you had one hit kills, no saves, and no continues. Ghosts 'N Goblins is often confused with Ghosts 'N Ghouls, despite them being the same basic game. The only real difference being their platform. Neither is forgiving, or willing to show a tiny bit of mercy at any point. You will get your ass kicked over and over. It's why so many young gamers learned the term "rage quit". They led to many broken controllers, and many kids being grounded. When you hear your seven year old scream "MOTHER FUCKER" that's usually when the kid gets a break from the games because they're grounded for a month and the game is taken away from them.
