Kane99 Posted December 9, 2021 Posted December 9, 2021 Back in the day when retro gaming was king, we didn't have the internet to get our tips from. I never called a video game hotline before, but I know they were a very popular means to get the helped needed to get through that tough level. Has there ever been a time where you called a gaming hotline for tips? If so, how was it, did they provide you with the tips you needed? I wonder what it was like working as a caller on these tip hotlines. I know Nintendo had one, I'm sure Sega had one, and many others did as well. Are there even any gaming hotlines still left out there? I doubt it, because I'd imagine we'd still hear something about it. And with the rise of the internet and YouTube, tip hotlines aren't really needed anymore.
