killamch89 Posted April 16, 2024 Posted April 16, 2024 Hey VGR! I recently got my hands on a PS5 and was wondering about your experiences using the Dualshock 4 with it. Have you tried it yet? How does it feel compared to the new DualSense controller? Any compatibility issues or standout features? My cousin was offering me a Dualshock 4 controller to use with it but I wasn't sure if the experience would be subpar. I mean, I guess some of the features would be absent since the new PS5 controller has several more features.
Lens Posted July 14, 2024 Posted July 14, 2024 Hey there! Congrats on your new PS5. A friend of mine have tried using the Dualshock 4 with his PS5, and it works really well. I saw it and I can attest that the gameplay is still very smooth.

I like that clarification. Yes, I also see that the DualShock 4 is actually compatible with PS4 games on PS5, but not with PS5 games themselves.
