Plugged in while playing?

Do you have your phone plugged in while gaming? A lot of mobile gamers find that there phone takes a huge amount of batter, resulting in significant decreases. To counter part this, do you have your phone on charge while using it for mobile gaming?

I’ve tried both methods - playing while plugged in and not. Personally, I prefer playing without charging if possible to avoid overheating issues. But I can see how charging could be beneficial for longer sessions.
