Scorpion Posted September 20, 2024 Posted September 20, 2024 Video games taught me perseverance, adaptability, and strategic thinking, helping me navigate challenges and setbacks in both personal and professional life. What about you? What valuable life lessons, skills, or values have you learned from video games that transcend gaming itself, influencing your perspective, behavior, or relationships?
killamch89 Posted September 20, 2024 Posted September 20, 2024 Video games have taught me patience and the importance of trial and error. Some of the hardest games, like 'Dark Souls,' made me realize that failure isn't the end. It's a stepping stone toward progress. That mindset has shifted how I approach difficult situations in life. Instead of getting frustrated, I try to learn from each mistake and keep pushing forward.
Lens Posted September 21, 2024 Posted September 21, 2024 To be honest with you, Video games taught me teamwork, communication, and problem-solving. I learnt the importance of coordination and strategy while playing Overwatch and League of Legends.
Button Posted September 22, 2024 Posted September 22, 2024 One important thing I learnt is emotional regulation and I was able to gain this skill from games like Dark Souls and Sekiro.
