killamch89 Posted November 19, 2024 Posted November 19, 2024 The DualSense is already a fantastic leap forward with haptic feedback and adaptive triggers, but what’s next? Could Sony improve battery life, add customizable buttons, or integrate features like modular thumbsticks (a la DualSense Edge)? Maybe advanced motion tracking or even VR-specific functionality? I’d love to hear ideas from the community on how Sony could push the boundaries of immersion and innovation in future controllers. What features would you want to see?
Scorpion Posted January 1, 2025 Posted January 1, 2025 I'd love to see improved battery life and customizable buttons. Adding advanced motion tracking and VR integration would enhance immersion even further!
killamch89 Posted January 2, 2025 Author Posted January 2, 2025 Personally, The DualSense is amazing, but I think focusing on basics like battery life would make the biggest impact for most players. It’s frustrating when you’re in the middle of an intense session and have to charge. Sony could also work on durability, especially for the adaptive triggers and sticks, since these are prone to wear over time with heavy use. Solid improvements in these areas would make the controller even better in my opinion.
