killamch89 Posted January 1, 2025 Posted January 1, 2025 Mobile games with user-generated content are becoming more popular, but how do you feel about them? Do you enjoy the creativity and variety they bring, or do you think they add clutter and imbalance? Are there any mobile games that do user-generated content well? Or do you prefer traditional, developer-curated experiences?
Scorpion Posted February 1, 2025 Posted February 1, 2025 I enjoy mobile games with user-generated content because they offer creativity and endless variety. However, some can be unbalanced. Games like “Minecraft” do it well, but I still appreciate curated experiences too!
killamch89 Posted February 2, 2025 Author Posted February 2, 2025 I think user-generated content in mobile games can be a double-edged sword. On one hand, it fosters creativity and keeps games fresh with new content. On the other, it can lead to imbalance or low-quality contributions. Games like Levelhead and Roblox have shown how to do it well by providing solid creation tools and moderation. I lean towards developer-curated experiences for polish but appreciate a good mix of both.
