killamch89 Posted January 9, 2025 Posted January 9, 2025 I’ve been experimenting with mods that tweak game difficulty or change mechanics, and I’m curious about others’ opinions. Some mods make games easier or harder, while others completely alter how the game plays. Do you think mods that adjust core aspects of a game enhance the experience, or do they take away from the developer’s vision? Have you tried any mods that dramatically changed how a game felt?
Scorpion Posted January 27, 2025 Posted January 27, 2025 I believe mods can enhance the experience by adding variety. Some tweaks make games more enjoyable, but others might stray too far.
killamch89 Posted February 6, 2025 Author Posted February 6, 2025 Personally, I think mods that tweak difficulty or mechanics can breathe new life into a game. Sometimes the vanilla experience isn't quite right for everyone, and mods allow players to customize the game to their liking. I've used mods to make games harder and more challenging, and I've also used mods to make them more accessible. It's all about personal preference.
