How do you balance security and convenience in your mobile device usage?

Balancing security and convenience is a constant challenge in the era of mobile devices, where protecting personal data often competes with the ease of use. I’m curious about how you manage this trade-off in your daily mobile interactions. Do you rely on strict security protocols even if it means sacrificing some convenience, or do you adopt a more flexible approach that prioritizes user-friendliness? What tools, practices, or habits have you found effective in maintaining this balance?

I'm always mindful of security risks, enabling two-factor authentication and keeping software up to date, but I don't let security paranoia ruin convenience, finding a balance to stay safe online.

I use a password manager that generates and auto-fills unique credentials for every service, which provides high security without memorization burden. The minor friction of accessing my password manager serves as a mindful pause before logging into services, making me more intentional about which apps truly deserve my data.
