Scorpion Posted May 1, 2025 Posted May 1, 2025 Do you find yourself naturally skilled at navigating complex game worlds, or do you struggle with wayfinding and map reading? How does your ability or difficulty in navigation affect your overall gaming experience? Have you developed strategies to improve, or do navigation challenges sometimes hinder your progress and enjoyment?
killamch89 Posted May 2, 2025 Posted May 2, 2025 I've developed a system where I mentally create landmarks and pathways between them, almost creating a mental subway map of game worlds. This approach has served me well from Skyrim to Red Dead Redemption 2 - I rarely use fast travel because the journey itself becomes meaningful.
Bizdustry Posted May 4, 2025 Posted May 4, 2025 I wouldn’t say but every time I play I’m always learning of new strategies . Just like the previous poster, I use the same strength. I save landmarks so I don’t forget where I’ve already been in case I’m needing to return.
