I've developed a system where I mentally create landmarks and pathways between them, almost creating a mental subway map of game worlds. This approach has served me well from Skyrim to Red Dead Redemption 2 - I rarely use fast travel because the journey itself becomes meaningful.

I wouldn’t say but every time I play I’m always learning of new strategies . Just like the previous poster, I use the same strength. I save landmarks so I don’t forget where I’ve already been in case I’m needing to return.
