What do you think about the evolution of PlayStation's user interface from past to present?

I’ve been revisiting early PlayStation consoles (PS1, PS2) and contrasting their simple button-driven menus with today’s elaborate, multimedia-heavy interfaces on PS5. Back then, a static black screen with “Memory Card” icons sufficed. Now we have dynamic home screens, interactive activity cards, and voice-assistant integration. How do you feel about this evolution? Do you miss the minimalist navigation and instant load speeds of past UIs, or appreciate modern features like integrated streaming apps, instant game switching, and curated content feeds? Does the current design enhance your experience, or feel cluttered?

I think PlayStation's user interface has evolved beautifully, becoming more intuitive and streamlined over time. It now offers easier navigation, personalized options, and faster access to games and settings, enhancing overall user experience and making gaming more enjoyable and accessible.

I miss the simplicity of PS1 memory card management compared to today's cloud save complexity, though I appreciate how modern PlayStation interfaces prioritize game discovery and social features over pure functionality.
