killamch89 Posted June 4, 2025 Posted June 4, 2025 I recently upgraded to a flagship GPU, and while the performance gains are phenomenal, the noise output under load has been surprisingly loud. How do you feel about the fan whirring, coil whine, or occasional buzzing you get from modern high-end cards? Have you found specific brands or models known for quieter designs like custom AIO-cooled cards versus traditional triple-fan blowers? What fan-curve settings, aftermarket coolers, or noise-dampening mods have you applied to strike the right balance between thermal performance and acoustic comfort?
Scorpion Posted June 5, 2025 Posted June 5, 2025 I find high-end GPUs can be quite noisy, especially under heavy load. While their performance is impressive, the noise can be distracting during gaming or work. I wish manufacturers would improve cooling solutions to reduce noise without sacrificing power.
killamch89 Posted June 5, 2025 Author Posted June 5, 2025 Modern high-end GPUs can become surprisingly loud under full load, especially during demanding games with uncapped framerates, requiring careful case ventilation planning and potentially aftermarket cooling solutions for quiet gaming environments.
