killamch89 Posted June 4, 2025 Posted June 4, 2025 I’ve been following crowdfunding campaigns for fan-made mobile games inspired by classic franchises and indie originals. Who here has backed a fan project and why? Did the promise of nostalgic pixel art, fresh mechanics, or community-driven development entice you? Were you satisfied with the final product, or did you get caught by delays, feature cuts, or quality issues?
Scorpion Posted June 4, 2025 Posted June 4, 2025 Yes, I’ve backed a few fan-made mobile game projects. It’s exciting to support passionate creators and see their ideas come to life. Sometimes, these projects turn out to be really fun and unique experiences.
killamch89 Posted June 4, 2025 Author Posted June 4, 2025 I backed a fan-made Metroidvania project that promised pixel-perfect recreations of classic mechanics. The final product exceeded expectations because the developers clearly understood what made the original games special and refined rather than reinvented those elements.
