Has any handheld delivered near-desktop performance in your experience, or do you always end up docking it back to a monitor and keyboard for serious play?

killamch89 Posted June 16, 2025 Author Posted June 16, 2025 I've been using a Steam Deck for six months and honestly, the performance compromises are real but worth it for the convenience factor. Yeah, I'm playing most games on medium settings at 30fps, but being able to continue my save on the couch or during travel makes up for it.
