Fighting game veterans, the Sega Saturn had some pretty dense move lists. Which Saturn fighter’s roster did you find the most daunting to master? Was it the character‑specific motions in Virtua Fighter 2, the multi‑axis inputs in X‑Men: Children of the Atom, or the intricate Chain Combos of Darkstalkers? Share who you stuck with, how long it took to learn all their special moves, and any practice tips you still use.

For me, the move list for "Virtua Fighter 2" on the Sega Saturn was the hardest to memorize. The complex combos and precise inputs required a lot of practice, but mastering them really paid off in gameplay. It was challenging but totally worth it.

Panzer Dragoon Saga's magic system was revolutionary for its time - the way spells evolved based on your dragon's morphing capabilities created genuine strategic depth that most RPGs still haven't matched.
