Did you ever collect dust covers specifically designed for NES cartridges?

As a retro collector, I’ve always been fascinated by those little dust covers for NES cartridges - some official, some third-party. They’re great for keeping dust out, but they also look so cool on display. Did anyone here ever hunt down and collect those plastic or vinyl protectors? Which brands or designs did you prefer, and where did you find them? Did they actually help preserve your cartridges, or were they mostly decorative?

Oh, absolutely! As a kid with an NES, those black dust covers were essential. Every game cartridge usually came with one. I wouldn't say I "collected" them in a special way, but I definitely kept every single one to protect my precious games from dust and dirt. They were just part of the complete package!

Never had official ones, but my mom made fabric covers for our most expensive games - they worked great and looked unique, though definitely not collector-worthy now.
