What’s your favorite SNES title that features a “cloning” or copying mechanic

The SNES era was full of inventive gameplay ideas, but one mechanic that really fascinates me is “cloning” or copying abilities whether duplicating yourself, transforming into enemies, or creating allies. Think Kirby Super Star’s copy powers or Super Mario World’s Clown Car shenanigans. Which Super Nintendo game features your favorite cloning mechanic, and how did it elevate the gameplay? Did you discover hidden techniques by copying the right abilities, or use clones to solve mind-bending puzzles?

For me, it's Kirby Super Star's Helper system. Being able to copy an enemy's ability and then create a playable ally from it was revolutionary! It added so much strategic depth and co-op fun, essentially letting you clone abilities for a friend.

Good Choice but Mega Man X's ability to gain powers from defeated bosses felt more refined than classic Mega Man - each weapon had clear situational uses and awesome animations to me.
