Which codec frequency quirk (e.g., 140.85 for Meryl) in Metal Gear Solid 1 did you discover by accident?

During a late-night Metal Gear Solid 1 run as a kid, I dialed codec frequency 140.85 by accident and got to speak with Meryl’s codec voice early. It made me wonder: which codec frequency quirks did you stumble upon serendipitously? Maybe you randomly hit 120.3 and heard Otacon’s hidden chatter, or nearly got Colonel Campbell’s secret briefing instead of mission intel. How did you first uncover these bizarre channels, and did any of them actually change your understanding of the story? S

I accidentally discovered the codec frequency 140.85 for Meryl during my first playthrough. It was a surprising find, and it added an extra layer of immersion, making me feel more connected to the characters and the game's world.

Trying to contact Otacon, I accidentally hit 141.82 instead and got Naomi Hunter rambling about genetic destiny. I hadn’t reached that part of the plot yet, so it completely threw me off. For a second, I thought I’d triggered some alternate timeline. That misdial made me obsessed with finding other “off-grid” voices.
