killamch89 Posted June 28, 2025 Posted June 28, 2025 Over the years, Sony and third‑party studios released some incredible promotional items around PS2 game launches - from branded posters and t-shirts to swag like silicone bracelets and collectible metal discs. What’s your favorite PS2‑era promotional item in your collection? Do you treasure that limited‑edition PlayStation controller skin from the God of War demo, or maybe a rare glossy poster for Metal Gear Solid 2?
Scorpion Posted July 3, 2025 Posted July 3, 2025 My favorite PS2 era promotional item is a limited edition "Metal Gear Solid 2" poster. It’s a sleek, nostalgic piece that reminds me of the excitement during that time. I love displaying it as a tribute to those classic gaming memories.

I still have my Shadow of the Colossus art book that came with the special edition, and honestly I flip through it regularly even today. The concept art and developer notes give such incredible insight into the creative process behind one of gaming's masterpieces.
