Once you complete the Novice of Mysteries quest and collect all three of the unique faction items; the Blade of Bastet, the Phantom Device, and the Voice of Set, it’s time to put them to use. The next faction quest for the Order of Mysteries is the Fallout 76 Seeker of Mysteries side quest. In this quest, you’ll be delving further into the backstory behind the Order.
How to Complete the Fallout 76 Seeker of Mysteries Side Quest
To get started with the Fallout 76 Seeker of Mysteries side quest you need to listen to the “Order of Mysteries – Rank: Seeker” Holotape. As usual for an Order of Mysteries quest, you then need to use Cryptos to choose the new mission from the computer’s “Mission Board”. This will give you the “Order of Mysteries – Pleasant Valley” Holotape. Listen to this and the quest will start in earnest.
The Seeker of Mysteries quest takes place at the Pleasant Valley Ski Resort, in the Savage Divide. Once you arrive, you’ll have several objective markers scattered throughout the resort. Head to each of these and collect the notes. Watch out for mole miners and other enemies which are likely to be inhabiting the derelict resort. The notes will give you more information about the Order of Mysteries and their interactions with the Raiders faction. Eventually you’ll learn that a Raider named Brody has intel on the Order.
At this point you have two ways to progress. If you have the Perk Cards to unlock a Level 3 lock, then you can access Brody’s room in the resort directly. If not, you need to find a terminal and read the “Yo Brody,” message. Doing so will mark the location of the room key for you to find. Once you get into the room in either manner you’ll have to access a locked terminal. If you can hack a Level 3 terminal, then simply do that. If not, pick the lock on the nearby footlocker to find a note. Similarly to the room key, the note marks the location of the password terminal. Whatever you do, once you access the terminal you can read the entries and retrieve a holotape to complete the quest. As a reward, you’ll receive random ammo and aid items, as well as a random raider torso armour mod.
