I'll check you out. Are you into racing games?
-
Yeah, but I think I'll wait on PS5 and I'm falling behind on my reading because I'm really into Youtubing old NASCAR races these days.
-
If a game is delayed, it means I'll get more books read. I don't really have a horse in this race though because my newest console is a PS3.
-
Normally I just live with in game music, but sometimes I'll listen to Rainbow or Deep Purple while playing GT.
-
And speaking of sports games and their evolution over time, why did EA Sports make NBA Live '04 so much harder to win games with than Live '03? I don't even play '04 that often as I'll always enjoy Live '03 more.
-
I really never think about brightness, it kind of is what it is.
-
I feel invested if I'm half ways decent at the game, or if I like the concept behind it. There really is no set time.
-
I don't care about reviews, I'll just buy what looks cool. That's why I got Super Trucks Racing and Pickup Trucks Racing for the PS2.
-
Yeah, I think I'll just stay in my old school Playstation universe.
-
My quickest completion would have to be NBA Live '97. It was a few years ago, so I forget how long it took.
-
I have every generation Playstation except 4. I play NASCAR '99 sometimes, I play Gran Turismo, the only one I haven't owned so far is Sport. I play Car and Driver Grand Tour Racing '98, it was one of my first video games ever along with NBA Live '98. I loved the NBA Live franchise until it became too hard to play in 2004. The newest one I regularly play is Live '03. The only early Lives I haven't owned are '95 and '96. I used to play NASCAR Thunder '02, but the car control wasn't really all that, so I made the switch to NASCAR Dirt to Daytona, which I've stated earlier I was really hooked on in '07. I have a copy of Dukes of Hazzard Racing for Home, but I scratched the disc right before I was going to beat the final level. I might buy another copy of it. I could go on and on.

NBA Live '03. If I have the Boston Celtics trade for Kevin Garnett, I become nearly unstoppable.
-
I'm two race wins away from completion and am wondering if any one here has ever completed it?
-
Old video games are great comfort food. They remind of basketball players or race car drivers I cheered for way back when.
-
The gameplays I've been watching lately have been of Kamakazegames playing racing games on Youtube. His driving style is a lot more aggressive than mine, I'm not really into beating and banging.
-
The last game I really binged on was NASCAR Dirt to Daytona back in '07. It was an old game at the time, but still.
-
Usually no more than one or two hours per day, but I might also play PC games too.
-
I love the intro music to Sierra's NASCAR Racing 2. It was released on Playstation with the same theme song as just NASCAR Racing.
-
Thanks for the clarification Sky.
-
I ease stress by playing the GT6 Rome races. Seeing the historic city comforts me.
-
For me it could be anywhere from 3:00 to midnight. I don't mean nine straight hours, but rather an hour or so of play anywhere within that time frame.
-
Either Mike or Stu from Twisted Metal 2. I would want to take a Heavy Metal fan into battle as an ally. Also Hammerhead reminds me of early Chevy Blazers.
-
Thanks Blackangel. And Sky, if I had no originality how could I have been a Metalhead when I was growing up in a small puritanical town in Massachusetts?
-
What does OP mean? And you can teach a player defensive skills, but you can't teach height as they say.
First ever game console?

My first console was a Playstation that I got from my parents for Christmas 1997. I was behaving well that year and got to use it early.
