As long as it's as comfortable as the Dualshock 4, I don't care.
Seems like only the aesthetics/design have changed, not the controller itself. Comfort wise, the Dualshock 4 is perfect though, I agree.

The nostalgia is great and the game was great at the time, but personally when I play a retro game that I played back in the day, it doesn't feel the same way. Maybe because my taste has changed, but it hits differently.

I think there are lot of people in EU and other parts of the world playing FIFA and getting good at it year in and out. Its interesting to see people with franchise over the years.
Hey, I'm not just one of the people - I'm an OG. 😆
Jokes aside, EA are the worst company ever but we still play FIFA, because which football fan (which has a massive audience) doesn't want to play a video game where you get to play football.

Other gamers opinions shouldn't even be in the mix. For example I hate GTA games. They are completely pointless to me. If I was a well known reviewer, would my review and opinion matter? Because I guarantee it wouldn't be a good one.
That's why I read the opinion of the majority. Of course, every game like with anything else that involves reviews, will have bad reviews, but if the majority of the reviews are good, the game is most likely good unless you have a different taste of gaming to everyone else.

I spoke too soon. Experienced lag and 200 ping the entire day yesterday. It's fixed now, but boy was it frustrating. To be fair, it is the first time in a long time that I have experienced lag but it completely ruins your enjoyment.

Atleast you're honest haha.

Of course. Most gamers have probably 'binge gamed' at some point - time goes super fast when you're gaming. I've been binge gaming Fortnite for the past couple of days (new season hype) and I binge gamed FIFA 20 back in September when it was released.

My first video game memory is playing Star Wars Battlefront II with my older brother on the PS2. I was probably 5 years old at the time but my memory of the game is still crystal clear. I've tried to play the 2017 remake too but it doesn't hit the same way.

Just had a fun session on Rainbow Six Siege. I've had the game for a while and finally got around to playing it. It's super fun, I'm hooked already. Third Tom Clancy game I've played after Splintercell Conviction and The Division.

I watch gameplays when I get stuck. Like say if I am stuck with the puzzle game or the games which don't much make sense and you have to find something for clues. In suchc ase watching gameplays and moving ahead of that level if what works for me.
That makes sense. I've probably done that myself some time in the past, but I was referring to people who watch gameplay as a source of entertainment. I guess everyone has their own definition of entertainment but watching gameplays is certainly not mine.

Earlier this year I saved up money from a temporary retail job I did over Christmas and invested a good chunk of the money into a gaming PC. I bought the parts not a pre-built PC, cost me around £800 if you include everything - by that I mean the chair and monitor too.

Epic Games
in PC
On 6/16/2020 at 3:33 AM, killamch89 said:I'm not going near anything with Epic games involved.
Why? Their best game (Fortnite) is free which is regularly updated, they release games (for example, GTA V) for free on a regular basis and their support is excellent. I don't see the problem with Epic Games.

Pokemon Go
in Mobile

I agree, I know of another very popular game in its peak, decline in the same way because the developers could not keep up with its demand - seems to be the route for all mobile games. If only they had the work ethic of Epic Games.

The Atari debuted in 1977.
Makes a lot of sense. That's a long time before my existence haha.

Windows. I've never had a problem with the operating system (which is windows if you couldn't tell already) that I run games on, so why change something that is not broken?

I think EA is basically copying the old code wiht the same old graphics slightly tweaked. Nothing new.
Exactly, FIFA 20 is more of a FIFA 17.3 than a new game. They will update the roster, very slightly improve the gameplay and release it the following year. Trademark EA. That being said, I along with other FIFA fanatics will still buy the game every year.

Your internet supplier must be good. I experienced a lot of lag when we all were in the lockdown. ISP needs to be good for this to work out.
Funnily enough, before lockdown, my internet was going down every other day. Since lockdown, it has been flawless. I use Virgin Medi fyi. I cannot remember the last time I experienced lag, it's been that long. 😛

I think you are young or maybe under 25 or so. As you move ahead and life hits you. Then such depth comes in. If you don't get much life knocks, then the depth stays away from you.
I am 18, but I do not think it's to do with age. You can be stressed regardless of your age, life hits people at 16, 17... I am just personally a calm person that does not take stuff to heart, that's my personality.

A colour change. Just what we needed.

I've never had a PS Vita. Seems like it replaced the PSP. I only discovered the PS Vita around last year. The PSP brings back some great memories though. Is the PS Vita just a better version of a PSP?

As a ps4 owner, I play a lot of games on the platform. I love it. I have many games from different genres and my favourite is FIFA 18. I love football it's really fun for me and for me to play it in a video game is fantastic. I have fun times with my friends, when I play pro clubs. We get together and have a laugh. I also like the journey on it, it's fabulous and wonderful!
FIFA 18 was great, although broken. Near-post shots were way too over-powered. For me it has to be one of the FIFA editions or GTA V. I'm playing RDR2 on my PS4 at the moment so GTA V may not be my favourite for much longer.

Yes indeed that the part about the PS taking the lead. I think I am not sure how the XBOX may end up in such case after few years. It'd be interesting to see the competition.
The Xbox Series X is literally a box - very lazy design. I don't see them being able to compete with the PS5. Will get left behind just like Nintendo was left behind years ago. 😜

I can relate, whether you play with a controller or keyboard and mouse, Fortnite certainly exercises your fingers. I’d like to think I’m semi-pro now that my fingers move fast enough.
