Yeah and the thing is this keep on repeating the same stuff wont be good for them long term.

Nah, it won't affect their sales at all. They've been doing it for a long time, and like I've said, there will always be a huge demand for FIFA because FIFA fanatics like myself will still buy the game every year, even if it's just for an updated roster lol.

  2. I've only played a little bit so far, but it's not as bad as people are making it out to be. Atleast for me personally, I'm enjoying it very much so far and I hope the ending will live up the expectations too.

It's a rip-off, really. I can't even start to think the amount of profit and revenue Epic Games generate from cosmetic skins. Most gamers are obsessed with their character appearance although what I think is that, it's not about your skin, it's how well you play in the match.

Being a "default" doesn't make you any less of a player.

You've just stated the obvious, Epic Games have made it clear that skins/cosmetic do not give players any in-game advantage. They've clearly identified the modern gamers' obsession with their appearances and taken advantage of it. It's genius.

I've always used a controller as well, with the only exceptions being AOE and Diablo 1&2 on PC. I started gaming with a controller in my hand and it's what I'm used to. Trying to game otherwise just feels unnatural to my hands. Maybe it's a kind of "hits the ear wrong" type of thing? I guess when it comes to gaming, my mind and hands are conditioned to holding a controller.

    Exact same situation with me.

I normally use a controller but I'm playing Borderlands 2 with keyboard and mouse to get more used to it.  For certain games like shooters a mouse is a bit more precise than a controller.

That's true, you can be more precise with keyboard & mouse than a controller, unless your hands are as shaky as mine. Regardless of the game, I just feel more comfortable using a controller rather than pressing keys on a keyboard.

I kind of get the way the XBox Series X looks, it's design is born from function rather than style and is there to improve cooling and reduce fan noise. However, whilst I think your statements are a little harsh, It's difficult to say you're wrong. The XBox Series X is boring to look at and it's an awkward shape to place inside a TV table/cabinet. The PS5's design also came about in part to improve cooling, has a shape that's more likely to fit inside TV tables/cabinets despite the larger size and is far more pleasing on the eye.

Aesthetics and first impressions can mean everything to a potential consumer and Xbox have certainly given a bad first impression with the Xbox Series X design. They've lost the war against PS5 before it even started, in my opinion.

My requirement is based on design and code work I do. Moslty I need bigger screen 16 to 17 inch. And anything with 2GB Graphics memory is fine for me. Ryzen even better so. But I can't have desktop anymore due to me having to visit the clients for design clients showing them design mockups.. so I am lately leaning in between the ASUS and Apple Macbook Pro that meets this requirement.

Yeah, I can understand why laptops are the go-to option for most people due to their portability. Luckily for me, I don't need to take my system anywhere. I hope you find whatever it is that you're looking for!

I don't think entertainment wise there is much fun in it. In fact watching gameplays and spoiling the story means you don't want to play that game.

Exactly. Especially games like Fortnite (which are free and very easily accessible), wouldn't you just rather play the game instead of watching others play the game? Just a thought.

    PUBG

On PC however they have cost for purchasing the game from the store. So it's not like fortnite type free version. You have to download and install the PUBG by paying for Windows or other PC OSs.

Exactly, that sucks in my opinion. Their competitors (Fortnite, Warzone, Apex Legends) are available for free so PUBG (PC) really need to consider making their game free. I could definitely see a surge in downloads/players if that happened.

I am soon getting gaming laptop but mostly for my work from home reasons so that I don't have to rely on the office PC or the screen.

What are the specifications of the laptop you are planning on buying if you don't mind sharing? Personally, I know for a fact that I wouldn't enjoy gaming on a laptop, simply because it's not my style. My brother wants one though, so I guess it is down to preference.

So far only PUBG and Fortnite both are keeping on. And there are new gamers getting into the game. Pokekon is like seasonal hype. Kids play collect pokemons and move on.

I've heard PUBG has recently blown up in certain parts of the world. I played their mobile game when it first came out because my device was incompatible for Fortnite, and it's a great game, albeit I got bored of it. As for Fortnite, Epic Games are a different animal.

  10. Is this accurate? Fortnite eSports was doing great the last I heard of it. I've heard popular Fortnite players complaining about aim assist and controller players having an advantage over keyboard and mouse players because of the aim assist but like @hungeryhippo has mentioned above, Fortnite eSports and Fortnite in general are still doing amazing in terms of viewership and prizes.

Actully looking at this image I can't but think "Okay, so Dubai has just set the a new world recored for the tasllest building again!" 🤣

It says a lot about the Xbox Series X when the Xbox 360's design is more innovative. Whoever/Whomever designed that console need(s) to be sacked immediately - they spent 7 years thinking of a... box! Shocking.

  12. For gaming, of course the Switch is superior to Android. The Switch specialises in gaming whereas gaming holds secondary or even lower importance to Android. I don't have a Switch, but I'd be excited if I did. It's nice to see games like Apex Legends making the switch.

You see what I did there...

I wonder if this will become rather popular or not, and if it does, what kind of mods will be made for it?

Mods? I don't think FIFA is that sort of game. Or is it? 🤨

Personally, if this is true, this is great news. I bought a PC recently so I was planning on buying the next edition of FIFA (FIFA 21) on PC. The game being on steam just makes it a lot less complicated.

That's quick. Roughly, how many hours do you think you've spent completing it? Is the story mode different to the console version on PC? If not, are you not starting to become bored of GTA V walkthrough?

I don't keep count of how many hours I spend gaming, time flies when I'm enjoying myself. It's the same game on console and PC ...why would the story mode be different on either? This is only the second time that I have completed the game, the first time was when the game was first released, so I'm not bored lol.

Just out of curiosity, how long did it take you to learn where the keys are without constantly looking down? This is known as tough typing and some do it quicker than others. I took professional typing lessons at an early age and this has really helped me enjoy Gaming as a hobby!

I don't play games with a keyboard and mouse. I tried but I'm just too used to a controller in my hand - maybe I'll try again, just can't motivate myself at the moment. As for a controller, I've used one since a very young age so it's just about speed for me.

  16. I would pay $50 max for a PS3 unless I’m getting 30+ games with it - make that $80. Especially with the PS5 launch imminent, I would say the PS3 isn’t worth much at the moment.

  17. I can’t remember clearly, was the wrap-up the thing that told you how many hours you had spent on each game game in 2019? If so, I remember that I had spent 420ish hours on FIFA 20. This was in the span of 2 months since I quit in November. 😛

  18. I had a PSP when I was younger and I absolutely LOVED my PSP. I had FIFA and GTA Vice City (I think) along with a bunch of other games, it was the perfect console for me at the time. What happened to the PSP out of curiosity? Was it replaced by the PS Vita?

Reasonable PC it must be at the cost of the 800. I know a lot of my friends are upgrading their laptop and desktops this christmas.

Smart purchases can get you a very good PC for that price. My PC can run most games at good quality and I personally think of it as my best investment.

Comparing to the DS4, the top is rounded rather than straight and that may make the triggers and shoulder buttons easier to use. The side grips also look a little narrower, but a little longer and that may make it easier for smaller hands to grip and for larger hands to find a comfortable grip point. There're just two things I hate the DS4. One, the USB micro connection, now it's a USB-C on the DS5, good. Second is the contours on the face of the controller between the "Share" button to the D-Pad and the "options" button to the face buttons, they make the "Share" and "Options" buttons hard to press and I'm glad to see what looks like a flat face this time. I agree with @The Blackangeland @ARx182 that there was certainly little wrong with the DS4, but there's always room for improvement and I think these subtle changes as well as the expected new tech in the controller will make this even better.

Wow, you certainly have an eye for detail. They look the same to an average gamer like me, but now that you zoom in on the details, I see how the DS5 is an improvement on the DS4.
