Maybe. It would be cool if there was something like a 'gaming tablet'. A tablet that comes with a controller than can be connected. That would potentially be very popular given its portability and the gaming aspect would just be a secondary feature.

Pokemon Go
in Mobile
Seems like it has really declined, or I just don't hear about it much anymore. I remember when Pokemon Go was first released, the craze was insane. Personally I was never a fan - it's a cool concept but not something that interested me.

I used to play clash royale and lords mobile royale. But kind of got bored from it.
I'm personally bored of Clash Royale too. I think the general concept of the game is boring and repetitive, and Supercell are very lazy, but the clans within the game is what has kept me playing for so long.

I have to ask. I'm not trying to be rude, I'm just curious.
If you're not big on gaming, then why are you here?
I worded my post wrong. I very much enjoy gaming but I am not big on the technical aspect, such as console specs. I play plenty of games on both PC and PS4, so I'm a pretty avid gamer.

Something to compete against the Big 3? Not a chance. Nintendo has been around since the 1800's, and got into the video game market in the late 70's. They're the oldest of the Big 3, and also the strongest. I don't think anything could survive trying to go against them.
For those wondering, I'm not just pulling that out of my ass. Nintendo was a playing card manufacturer in the 19th century.
Haha I was about to say.
You think Nintendo are the strongest? I personally think that they are the smallest and the weakest out of the big 3. Nintendo is just a nostalgia merchant. Sony and Microsoft have lead the breakthrough in the new generation consoles.
-
I've never heard of either console - you guys must be old haha. The earliest console I can think of is the Gameboy. This is the first time I have heard of the Colecovision and Atari.

I agree with what you said about GTA V. As good as GTA V is, we're long overdue a next edition, the same game on 3 generations of consoles is boring and repetitive. As for the other games that were announced, personally I am really excited for the new Spider-Man and Grand Turismo 7!

Looks really cool! The first Spider-Man was simply amazing so if it's anything as good as the first one, it will be a great game. Shame that it will only be a single shot release and not a sequel. A game such as this has massive potential for a sequel.

You will not regret it. That game is amazing. Aside from events that are required to move the story, every last thing is your choice. Random things pop up constantly when you're out on your horse. People hurt or kidnapped. Some bucked by their horse and trying to catch it. Your choice to help them or ignore them. You can just kill anyone for no reason. But beware, there's always a damn witness somewhere. You can kill the witness too. You can hunt and trade. The list is endless. It's one of the best games I've ever played. And that's coming from a classic/retro gamer.
I really ought to play it now. Everyone I know has something good to say about the game. Right. That's it. I'm starting today. 😜

Both the Xbox Series X and the PS5 are confirmed for holiday 2020, so the they will be released around October/November this year.
Oh right, I never knew. Better get saving up then. I will probably buy the second build whenever they release that - probably a few months or a year from the original release.
-
I have no idea when the PS5 is coming out but I will not buy the first build, due to fear of bugs and issues, but I will put money aside for when I do finally buy it. Will need to save up for it now that I think of it.

I’ve heard great things about Red Dead Redemption 2. I even have the game (since it came out) but just haven’t had the chance to play the game, even in lockdown. I really need to play RDR2 soon!
-
I just store them in my wardrobe lol. No, really. I have no idea what happened to my PS2 but I just stored my Xbox 360 in the wardrobe for a few years, before selling it. Probably should have kept it though.

I’ve been playing FIFA with my older brother since I was 6 or 8 (he is 7 years older than me). Before the age of 14 or 15 he would easily beat me but since then I have turned into a different animal. Nowadays I beat him so easily that I find FIFA boring to play anymore.

The Travis Scott concert on Fortnite was really cool. It didn’t make me emotional but I really enjoyed the music so in a sense it may have. It was a brilliant idea by Epic Games. Would love to see something like it again!
-
Mario Kart, by far and easily. The rest are just trying to follow in Mario Kart’s direction but are just nowhere near the same level. I haven’t played Mario Kart in a long time, would love to play just for the nostalgia.
-
It really depends on the game. For example on Fortnite I will take a break after 2 or 3 long games or even call it a day. On FIFA, I could go on for 10 hours without stopping. That’s how addicted I am in its prime.
-
Only game music I can think of from the top of the head is FIFA and Rocket League music. Over the years, FIFA has had some classic soundtracks. Rocket League music isn’t too bad either.
-
I finished the GTA V story in less than a week, if you consider it fast. Currently in the process of completing the story mode again, but this time on PC.
-
I’ve had Spider-Man for almost 2 years and I still haven’t even passed the 50% mark. I’ve restarted about 3 times too.
-
Maybe, we can't know for sure. If one of the future consoles decides to end support for discs then I think that will spell the end for physical games/discs. I don't see it happening any time soon however.
-
I prefer to let the console lay. Less chance of it falling. Better safe than sorry. 🙂
-
I've owned the PS2, Nintendo Wii, PSP, Nintendo DS, Xbox 360 and PS4 over my lifetime. The PSP is my favourite ever console. Brings back great memories from my childhood. PS2 is a close second.
-
Why would you hate a platform? Unless it has hurt your feelings...
The correct wording would be your least favourite platform. My least favourite platform is the Nintendo Switch. It is nowhere near PS4 or Xbox One level and I don't really understand the hype. It is overrated, in my opinion.
Why are gamers so interested in review scores?

Before gamers invest time and money into a game they want to know what others think and ultimately if the game is any good according to other people. It’s only natural. Especially if I am about to buy an expensive game - I want to know that the game will be worth it.
