I don't even know if Rockstar criticised Take-Two for their performance in developing GTA trilogy, because, they never came publicly to voice anything negative feeling about GTA trilogy creation.

Take Two didn't develop the trilogy, Grove Street games did. Take Two owns Rockstar Games so it would be very weird and unfortunate for them to come out and complain against their owners. They did make the mistake of choosing Grove Street games to do the remaster though.

  2. Not sure if I'm reading some of the posts wrong but Take Two is the parent company that owns Rockstar Games. Grove Street Games (or whatever they're called) is the third-party developer that was in charge of remastering the GTA Trilogy and they are the company that messed it up unfortunately 😞

They have managed to grow their fans loyalty to the point where they can really wait for them even after what happened with GTA trilogy.

Whilst it was awful what they did with the GTA Trilogy, I think most hardcore fans can excuse them for that because they made a mistake in going for a third-party developer to make the game. If Rockstar themselves had made the trilogy, a lot more people would be disappointed.

8 years might be too long to wait for the game but who knows, some fans can really wait that long if they do love the game the way they love GTA series.

8 years would be based on them having already worked on the game for a while now. It doesn't mean 8 years from now. Rockstar wouldn't be stupid to keep a new GTA game away from us for that long.

  5. Trading212 for my stock investments. It's a great app and the fees are minimal which makes it amazing for investing in the big stocks. Reddit because you can spend so much time on it just finding out new things and keeping up with your favourite topics. And the last one for me, would be Twitter. Same reasons as Reddit, to be honest.

I was thinking about getting the new DLC for online just to get some form of new story. Even though I hate that it's locked to online. I'm just tired of the whole online aspect of it.

The good thing is that all they're online content is free and incorporated into the game so you can always try it out and see whether you like it or not. Plus, if you're on PlayStation, you get a million GTA$ for free every month so you can buy the new buildings without having to grind too much

With the constant stream of content for GTA online and income they get from it, I'm inclined to disagree. GTA 6 will most likely come out around the 2024-2025 period as Rockstar doesn't feel the need to rush it.

If they just started working on the game and with a release date of 2024-2025, that would mean they would have only worked on the game for 3-4 years. I don't think that will be the case. They will want GTA 6 to look and feel as good as RDR2 and that took them around 8 years.

  8. Played a bit of GTA Online earlier today. Haven't played it properly for a while now but I thought it would be a good time to get back into it since the E&E edition is coming out very soon. Hopefully that will have some major updates to make the online mode a lot more fun.

Grand Theft Auto 6 is far from release - they have just begun the development process in recent months.

I don't think that's the case, to be honest. The recent blog post was just a way for them to announce to users that GTA 6 was in the works. It wasn't a message about them just starting development on GTA 6. Considering they haven't worked on much since the release of RDR2 in 2018, it's fair to say they would have started on GTA 6 a few years ago, maybe even earlier.

That's going to be like 2 years before it's developed, completed and released. I'm not sure that's going to be feasible. It should take at least 3 according to your analysis.

Rockstar works on their games for years and years. They would have been working on some parts of the new GTA for a long while now especially since RDR2 came out in 2018. They haven't done much for RDR2 either so I would presume most of their team would have been working on other games (like GTA 6)

  11. Based on their timeline for GTA 5, it does seem like we will get an official announcement of the game (not an announcement about them working on it) later this year. The game will then have a release date for 2023 and then get delayed until 2024. That would be quite a good timeline that would make the wait not too long away.

  12. I've had a few different usernames in the past. I've gone as "kingcool56" or "kingcool52" in the past when I was younger. I now tend to go as "Ash" on most forums but I believe that was taken on this forum. "Darth" is part of my gaming username that I use on a lot of different platforms. I like Star Wars so thought it would be a good name to go for.

  13. It's free for PS Plus members at the moment so I will be giving it a proper go at some point. I've already downloaded it so that's the first step. I did try it out briefly on Xbox as well since it's available on the Game Pass. I just couldn't get into it properly though because the intros for these types of games are always a bit boring.

  14. Call of Duty, F1, Among Us. These games can easily be played with little bits of time and if it ever goes over your time, you can easily just quit without it being a problem for your account.

If the time that I have is around 30 minutes then you could probably fit in one game of FIFA as well.

  15. It seems like the PS5 is selling more. Sony have done a pretty good job at making the PlayStation a proper gaming brand that seems to market well in a lot of countries. The thing is, even though the Series X might not be selling as well, MS is doing a great job with the GamePass which PC gamers also love.

If they half cook GTA 6 after what just happened with GTA trilogy, they would have obviously shoot themselves in the head and no longer in the legs.

It would be a huge disappointment but it's important to remember that the trilogy was awful because it wasn't actually Rockstar that developed it. They made a mistake by giving it to some third-party developer who didn't do a good enough job with the remaster.

Yeah, Samsung have always been good when it comes to how perfect their products are. It's why my brother only makes use of their products. He's using S20FE now.

Yeah, they are pretty good. I've been a Samsung user myself for a long time now and had the Galaxy S20 for the last 2 years. Thought it was time for a change though so moved over and got an Apple this time around. That's more to do with Android rather than Samsung though who do make some great phones.

It's a shame they're removing some basic features from their latest phones though like expendable storage.

  18. I like the look of them and it's quite impressive that manufacturers are able to create folding phones. But it's not for me, to be honest. I don't need a phone that is that big that it needs to be folded. Plus, I can't imagine them lasting that long.

  19. I love that they acknowledged the game. I do think that we will get a sneak peak at GTA 6 later this year after the E&E edition is released. Something like a single world tweet or even a logo change on the Rockstar social media pages. I would imagine that the game would then be released sometime in 2-3 years.
