What are your thoughts on this trend? Do you think it enhances the gaming experience or are there downsides we should consider? Personally, I think it's fantastic that we as gamers can enjoy a particular experience no matter what platform we prefer.

Cross-platform gaming is breaking down barriers that used to keep friends from all enjoying the same gaming experience regardless of platform. It's great that now we can just focus on the fun instead of worrying about which console or PC someone has.

I think the benefits far outweigh the drawbacks because it encourages competition and innovation among developers.
