Kane99 Posted November 1, 2024 Posted November 1, 2024 Have you ever been burnt out from gaming? Like maybe you played far too much and you just can't get into the mood to game. Or you have been gaming for years, and it's not the same anymore. Have you ever been burnt out to the point you haven't played games for a while? I will say, I have been burnt out a few times when it comes to gaming. Sometimes I like to just take a break for weeks or longer. But has gaming ever burnt you out to the point you take an even longer break from gaming? What kind of stuff do you do to get back into the mood to game? Has there been any specific games that have brought you down to this point? Are there any games that have gotten you back to gaming after previously being burnt out by them?
Scorpion Posted December 15, 2024 Posted December 15, 2024 Yes, I've definitely experienced gaming burnout. Taking breaks helps me recharge. Exploring different genres or playing nostalgic games usually reignites my passion.
killamch89 Posted May 17, 2025 Posted May 17, 2025 Gaming burnout hit hard during the pandemic when games became my only escape. The pressure to extract joy from them was too intense. I've since learned that sometimes the healthiest thing is stepping away completely for a few weeks to reset my relationship with gaming.
