I can't say that I have had any issues with Malware of viruses on my phone at least not to my knowledge. I am quite careful when it comes to what I open on my mobile and also what I download onto my phone too.

I do know you can get apps that will detect anything that shouldn't be on your phone and I probably should have one of those installed to be on the safe side.
