With increasing awareness of the health risks associated with smoking, the question arises: should cigarettes be banned entirely? While many argue that smoking is a personal choice, others point out the devastating public health consequences and the financial burden on healthcare systems. Could a complete ban save lives or would it only drive the market underground?

They should be banned, but then people would push for junk food and booze to be barred as well. It would increase illegal activity. But there's always going to be contraband.

What gets me is how demonized cannabis is despite cigarettes and alcohol being even more dangerous.
