Heatman Posted December 5, 2024 Posted December 5, 2024 Paying of bills is something that's normal for anyone who's already independent. You can never avoid it and that's why you have to work in order to make money needed to pay for your bills. What is the largest unexpected bill you ever received?
killamch89 Posted December 5, 2024 Posted December 5, 2024 Oh, I know the pain of unexpected bills. The largest one I got was for $500 because I accidentally left my AC on for an entire month while I was on vacation. It’s like my house was living its best, coolest life without me.
Bizdustry Posted December 8, 2024 Posted December 8, 2024 Largest unexpected bill I’ve had is an electricity bill. For many years I have been underpaying each month as my electric company didn’t take the readings correctly resulting in a bill I’ve had to pay for more than £3000. This happened when I switched from standard meter to a smart meter.

Did the company offer any assistance, like a repayment plan? It seems like their mistake put you in a tough spot.
