Have You Ever Handled a Snake?

Have you ever had the chance to interact with one? How was the experience? Was it as intimidating as it seems, or did it feel natural? Would you recommend trying it, especially for someone who’s a little hesitant?

Yes, I’ve handled a snake. I had the chance to hold a snake when I went travelling to Asia, in Thailand and India. It was a python that was wrapped around my leg. Until you’ve held one you don’t realise the strength of such mystical creatures.

Personally, I’ve also handled a snake before when I was in Cambodia, and it was less intimidating than I thought. Their scales are smoother than I expected, and they usually stay calm if you’re gentle and also stay calm.

I’ve handled probably a dozen different species of snakes. Including venomous snakes. It’s no big thing to me.

I'm definitely not going near venomous snakes. Matter of fact, that's one of the main reasons I'll never go to Australia. I have a female Aussie friend who's been trying to convince me to come there for YEARS and I keep telling her I don't want to go to Jurassic Park because I see how this movie ends XD. She showed a picture of a baby daddy long legs spider and the thing was as big as a clock!
